Monthly Charge
Notes	Point-to-Point Protocol DS1 service is a clear-channel dedicated circuit between your location and Extreme Internet's routers. Bandwidth is available from 128 Kilobit to 1.544 Megabit in 64 kilobit increments. Technical support and monitoring for your PTP network are available from Extreme Internet 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

SONET

Monthly Charge
Notes	SONET is Synchronous Optical Networking, a fiber-optic based clear-channel dedicated connection. Monitoring of the fiber optic network has the highest priority and always includes a primary and protect (redundant) connection. Connections are available for 155 to 622 megabit. (Requires fiber optic connectivity, call to see if your location qualifies.)
Metropolitan Ethernet

Notes	Metropolitan Optical Ethernet utilizes a fiber optic connection to deliver Ethernet connections on a city-wide basis. Connect to Extreme as though you were directly connected to their core LAN. Connect two of your locations at speeds up to 1 gigabit. (Requires fiber optic connectivity, call to see if your location qualifies.)

Notes	Frame relay is a telecommunication service designed for cost-efficient data transmission for intermittent traffic between local area networks (LANs) and between end-points in a wide area network (WAN). Frame relay puts data in a variable-size unit called a frame and leaves any necessary error correction (retransmission of data) up to the end-points, which speeds up overall data transmission. For most services, the network provides a permanent virtual circuit (PVC), which means that the customer sees a continuous, dedicated connection without having to pay for a full-time leased line.
